October 19, 2024:
Central Server Works is excited to announce the opening of the gallery’s new space located in Downtown Los Angeles. The space will open on November 16 with the exhibition Erica Ryan Stallones Three’s a Crowd.
The 800 sq ft space is within walking distance of DTLA cultural landmarks like The Last Bookstore, The Japanese American National Museum, and the MOCA Geffen Contemporary.
Alongside our exhibition program, the space will also hold a bookshop with titles by Central Server Works Press and a curated selection of books from both large and small publishers prioritizing works that relate to and bring new contexts to our exhibitions and projects.

October 19, 2024:
Central Server Works is excited to announce the acquisition of Emily Babette Gross’s print Visions in the Light of the Afternoon by Cerritos College. The print will join the permanent collection of Cerritos College. The Cerritos College Art Gallery has only been collecting art objects for a relatively short period of time. But already the gallery has accumulated over 200 works by numerous contemporary artists, as well as Cerritos College faculty and students.
Emily Babette Gross is currently faculty at Cerritos College in the art department. Joshua and Rachael Oduga, founders of Central Server Works are both alumni of Cerritos College.
September 6, 2024:
Central Server Works is excited to announce a special print release with artist Emily Babette Gross.
Emily Babette Gross is a Canadian-born interdisciplinary artist who lives and works in Los Angeles, California. She works across a variety of mediums including drawing, painting, sculpture, performance, music, video, and installation; the thread that connects all of these disparate disciplines is her dedication to craft and the hand-made. Thematically her work explores identity, subjectivity, personal fantasies, queer and musical subcultures, the performative aspects of gender, and the concept of home.
This special print release is in association with Emily’s film project "In the Light of the Afternoon" which is being co-produced by Central Server Works. The prints capture specific moments from the film, preserving them in linoleum and hand-printed by the artist.
All funds from this limited edition print sale will support the second phase of production as we gear up to present the film at our gallery in Los Angeles in 2025.
Prints are available to purchase via our shop.
